What are Agency Spies?

When most people think of agency spies, what comes to mind are spies for government or military applications. Almost every government agency around the world has their own agency spies, constantly trying to get intelligence information on other governments. These people work under very dangerous circumstances, because if they are discovered, they could be imprisoned, or killed. In the same token however, these spies are also invaluable for gathering information on the defenses, a countries military power, and other items of interest.

The military and governments aren’t the only ones who employ agency spies. Many corporations also have spies. Why do they need spies? Because it is important to always keep on step ahead of the competition, and sometimes by any means necessary. Agency spies infiltrate other companies, often acting as employees, and when the opportunities present themselves, the retrieve vital information on the corporation’s documents or activities and report them back to their bosses. Although illegal in many cases, these kinds of covert operations are performed on a daily basis.

Agency spies incorporate many different gadgets to perform their appointed tasks. Now days, with most information being kept on computers, the need for quality security personnel and devices is a must. It is just too easy for an agency spy to be able to get onto a remote computer, and down load valuable information on a zip drive and be gone before anyone notices.

There are even agency spies that do counter surveillance in their own company, gathering intelligence on the employees. With all the newest electronics, your boss can tell what and where you have gone online, who you talk to on a company or even your private phone, and find out an abundance of information about you without your knowledge. You just never know if the person you think is your friend is actually a spy sent to infiltrate your social circle to find out more about you for one reason or another.

You don’t even have to be an agency spy to do surveillance on your coworkers, or even your boss. You can buy many of these same kinds of equipment, and this can be invaluable when collecting information. This can be because you have discovered your company is performing illegal activities, like insider trading, disposing of toxic waste improperly etc. these gadgets can also be used to proved your case when it comes to sexual harassment, and bullying in the work place or even at school.
